What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Schedule radiology appointments and manage patient scheduling across multiple locations
- Obtain insurance information and handle incoming faxes and medical records
- Provide exceptional customer service while answering multi-line phone systems
- Maintain detail-oriented management of multiple tasks throughout the workday
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, clients, coworkers, and management staff
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high productivity environment
- Strong communication skills for interaction with patients and staff
- Background in healthcare is preferred
- Experience with eClinicalWorks Practice Management System is preferred
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Previous experience in a similar scheduling role within the healthcare industry
- Familiarity with radiology or imaging procedures
- Proven ability to exercise judgment and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems
