What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Analyze and interpret data for quality assurance and reporting, identifying patterns and trends
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and expectations for data quality standards
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, use cases, and maintain documentation
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and implemented
  • Review test results to confirm acceptance criteria and recommend enhancements to court business processes

What Is Required (Qualifications)
  • Eight (8) years of information technology experience, including three (3) years as a business analyst or court user subject matter expert
  • Associate degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline with six (6) years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree with four (4) years of experience; or Master's degree with one (1) year of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting requirements gathering activities and analyzing business functions/processes
  • Proficient in writing queries and preparing documentation related to business processes and court operations
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver information to various audiences

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Understanding of the Washington State judicial system and experience with Washington's Courts of Limited Jurisdiction and/or Superior Courts
  • Experience with Washington Court's case management systems (JIS/DISCIS, SCOMIS, Odyssey)
  • Expertise in planning, requirements elicitation, and managing complex solutions
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft 365 products, including Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Consistent demonstration of AOC Values - Integrity, Teamwork, Customer Service, Honesty, Communication, Respect, Accountability, and Trust
