What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage the project commissioning team, providing guidance, training, and support for efficient task execution
Communicate with OEM suppliers regarding equipment-specific testing and commissioning activities
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment in commissioning activities
Prepare detailed daily commissioning reports, reviewing test results and issues encountered
Ensure all commissioning activities comply with industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems
Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure
Proven experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
Familiarity with relevant industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Knowledge of microprocessor protective relay testing
Familiarity with DCS/SCADA control systems and methods for utility-scale generation
Understanding of NERC compliance standards along with ISO and TSO testing and operational requirements
