We are looking for a Cloud Systems Validation Engineer with strong experience in Telematics/IoT and cloud-based system validation. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end validation strategies for cloud-connected telematics systems and collaborate across cloud, device, and data teams.
š§ Key Responsibilities
- Define and own end-to-end validation strategy for cloud-connected telematics systems
- Develop test plans, test cases, and validation frameworks across cloud sub-systems
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to clarify system requirements and interfaces
- Support system engineering activities including cloud architecture and requirements
- Identify gaps in validation approach and propose scalable test methodologies
- Drive issue investigation and root cause analysis across distributed systems
- Contribute to automation strategy for APIs, data pipelines, and simulations
- Provide technical guidance to improve observability, reliability, and performance validation
- Drive alignment across stakeholders to improve system quality and validation processes
- Facilitate technical discussions across cloud, device, and OEM partners
- Act as bridge between teams to translate technical challenges into actionable improvements
ā Required Skills
- 4ā7 years of experience in (Telematics OR IoT OR Connected Systems)
- Strong System Engineering & System-level validation experience
- Experience with PFMEA, DVP&R, ESW, PLM
- Cloud infrastructure validation experience
- API contract testing, schema validation, and data pipeline validation
- Experience with AWS OR Azure OR GCP
- Hands-on experience with Dynatrace, MongoDB, ArgoCD
- Understanding of data flow across connected devices, ECM, and cloud services
- Ability to convert ambiguous requirements into structured validation plans
ā Preferred Skills
- CAN / J1939 knowledge
- Telematics devices or vehicle systems experience
- Test automation frameworks
- Data pipelines, APIs, event-driven architectures
- DevOps / CI-CD exposure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
