Job Title: Electrical Engineer – NPI (High Voltage)
Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)
Job Description:We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong experience in high voltage circuits to support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating high power testing solutions, along with supporting manufacturing and production activities. This role requires hands-on lab experience, cable harness design, and component selection expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop high voltage circuits and select appropriate power components
Create and implement high power testing solutions and design test fixtures
Perform validation and testing using lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, RLC analyzers, and multimeters
Design cable harness drawings using AutoCAD or similar tools
Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for new product builds
Support NPI builds and work closely with manufacturing to resolve production issues
Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective technical solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams during product development and release
Required Skills:
Experience with high voltage circuit design and testing
Power component selection and evaluation experience
Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, RLC analyzers, and lab equipment
Cable harness design using AutoCAD or similar tools
BOM creation and manufacturing support experience
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
Experience in NPI / product development environment
Nice to Have:
Experience in high power testing environments
Knowledge of safety standards for high voltage systems
Experience working with cross-functional hardware teams
