About the role

🔹 Key Responsibilities
Design and implement cybersecurity architectures for automotive ECUs and domain/zonal controllers
Perform Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) to identify and mitigate potential security risks
Develop and integrate secure boot, secure flashing, and cryptographic solutions (PKI, TLS, HSM)
Ensure compliance with ISO/SAE 21434 and support audits for UNECE WP.29
Secure in-vehicle communication networks including CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and DoIP
Implement and validate Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security validation activities
Collaborate with software, hardware, and system teams to integrate security into AUTOSAR (Classic & Adaptive) platforms
Define cybersecurity requirements, work products, and documentation across the V-cycle
Support secure OTA updates and cloud-connected vehicle ecosystems
🔹 Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
8+ years of experience in automotive cybersecurity or embedded systems security
Strong knowledge of vehicle architectures, ECUs, and automotive communication protocols
Hands-on experience with cryptographic techniques and secure communication
Familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture (Classic/Adaptive)
Experience in TARA, risk analysis, and security requirement derivation
🔹 Preferred Qualifications
Experience with tools such as Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, Wireshark, Kali Linux
Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)
Experience in embedded Linux/RTOS security hardening
Understanding of UDS, DoIP, and secure diagnostics
Exposure to cloud/connected vehicle security (AWS IoT, Azure IoT)
Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, Automotive Cybersecurity certifications)
