Farm Manager

Role Overview
Paradise Farms is a certified organic, regenerative farm in Homestead, Florida. We are seeking a Farm Manager to lead daily farm operations, production, and post-harvest handling. This role is responsible for field-to-pack execution, ensuring consistent, high-quality output aligned with sales demand, food safety, and profitability. The position also oversees compost operations and soil fertility as a core part of regenerative practices.
Key Responsibilities
Farm Operations and Production
Execute crop plans aligned to seasonality, yield targets, and sales demand
Oversee planting, irrigation, pest management, and soil health
Maintain soil fertility through organic and regenerative practices, including compost production and application
Monitor production vs forecast and adjust as needed
Maintain farm infrastructure, irrigation systems, and equipment
Post-Harvest, Washing and Packing (FSMA)
Oversee harvesting, washing, packing, and storage in compliance with FSMA and food safety requirements
Ensure proper sanitation, wash water use, and clean food-contact surfaces
Maintain handling practices that prevent contamination and protect product quality
Ensure all product is properly packed, labeled, and traceable
Maintain cleanliness and organization of packing and storage areas
Livestock and Poultry
Oversee pasture-raised poultry operations
Ensure proper feed, rotation, housing, and flock health
Monitor production levels and quality
Inventory and Production Alignment
Align harvest volumes with demand across CSA, ecommerce, retail, and wholesale
Maintain accurate inventory reporting from harvest through storage
Coordinate product availability with internal teams
Team Leadership
Lead farm staff in daily execution
Ensure work is completed to standard, efficiently, and on time
Maintain accountability for output and quality
Financial and Operational Performance
Manage inputs and production costs
Support yield and efficiency targets
Reduce waste and maintain quality standards
Compliance
Ensure compliance with USDA Organic and FSMA requirements
Maintain required records for production, harvest, and handling
Ensure adherence to food safety practices

Qualifications
5+ years farm management experience in organic and regenerative systems required
Strong knowledge of crop production, composting, soil health, and post-harvest handling
Experience with FSMA and food safety requirements
Proven ability to lead teams
Strong operational and organizational skills
Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
