A little spice goes a long way Paprika Partners is a boutique financial firm built for a new generation of business owners. The ambitious owner-operators, the diverse founders, and the unconventional builders who deserve the same quality of financial partnership as the big guys. We provide bookkeeping, accounting, advisory, and fractional CFO services for businesses ranging from $2M-$20M in revenue. We're not a corporate shop. We move fast, we think in systems, we geek out on AI and technology, and we show up as real human beings who genuinely care whether our clients win. Our team is small, deeply collaborative, and building something we're all proud of, and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of that. The Role: This is not a button-clicking, template-maintaining kind of seat. You'll be the financial modeling engine behind a portfolio of owner-operated businesses, building from scratch, thinking critically, and communicating directly with founders who are counting on your work to make real decisions. The title is flexible, Analyst or Senior Analyst, depending on where you are in your career. What matters more is that you're sharp, fast, client-ready, and genuinely excited about the kind of work we do. You'll collaborate closely with our founder, Accounting Managers, Staff Accountants, and Bookkeepers, a tight-knit team where everyone is in it together and nothing falls through the cracks. What You'll Do: Client Advisory & Financial Strategy:
Manage multiple client engagements concurrently with strong organization and prioritization
Serve as a strategic financial partner to assigned clients
Build strong, trusted relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and financial goals, ensuring a long-term engagement and client retention
Lead financial review meetings, presenting insights, trends, and recommendations
Help clients understand key drivers of revenue, cost, and profitability
Provide guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
Support business decision-making (hiring, pricing, expansion, cost control, etc.)
Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly financial analysis packages, including:
KPI dashboards
Trend analysis
Margin and profitability analysis
Cash flow projections
Translate financial data into clear, concise narratives for non-financial stakeholders
Customize reporting based on client needs and industry
Implement and improve financial planning tools and dashboards by leveraging technology to automate and enhance reporting
Standardize FP&A processes across client engagements
Partner with Accounting Managers to ensure alignment between financial reporting and forecasting
Forecasting, Budgeting, & Cash Flow:
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills
Strong ability to build partnerships with business owners and client leadership teams
Strong client service and relationship management skills
High attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities
Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills with ability to effectively communicate with managers, clients, customers, contractors, peers and vendors
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
Ability to work in fast paced and results driven environment
Learn quickly, understand/follow instruction and adapt to new problems and situations
Team player; ability to cultivate team environment
Must be tactful and able to resolve disputes
Ability to present professional appearance and behavior in accordance company policies
Ability to meet all safety and physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred
5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial consulting
Experience working with multiple clients or business units
Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses
Familiarity with outsourced accounting or fractional CFO environments
Understanding of GAAP and financial statements

What Success Looks Like:
Clients rely on you as a strategic partner, not just a financial analyst
Forecasts are accurate, insightful, and drive better business decisions
Financial insights are clear, actionable, and tailored to each client
Proactively identify risks and opportunities before they impact performance
Reporting processes are efficient, scalable, and value-driven
You contribute to a team culture where people invest in each other's growth and genuinely enjoy working together
