Position
HOST The Host is the first and last point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a warm, professional, and organized arrival and departure experience. This role sets the tone for service by managing reservations, greeting guests, coordinating seating flow, and supporting smooth front-of-house operations.
This position is part of an exciting new restaurant concept opening within our resort in mid-August 2026. Official start dates are expected to be finalized in early August.
Position requires some nights, weekends and holidays. Responsibilities
Due to changing operational demands, it may be necessary to undertake various functions that are not specifically related to this position. This individual may be required to carry out additional tasks and duties as needed or as directed. Additionally, employee responsibilities and job descriptions are subject to review and modification.

- Greet all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival and departure
- Manage seating flow to ensure balanced service across the restaurant
- Maintain and organize reservation system and walk-in waitlist
- Communicate wait times accurately and professionally to guests
- Escort guests to tables and present manus as needed
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations, inquires, and basic information
- Coordinate with servers and management to optimize table rotation and guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
- Monitor dining room activity and anticipate guest needs or service bottlenecks
- Assist with to-go orders or other front-of-house needs when required
- Support special events, large parties, and private dining coordination
- Uphold all service standards, safety procedures, and hospitality expectations
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Ability to work nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest-faing roles preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, polished, and guest-focused demeanor
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Basic computer or reservation system experience a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly as needed
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Reliability, punctuality, and professional communication skills are critical.
- CPR and first aid certification a plus and /or the willingness to be trained.
- The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures, and the capacity to communicate effectively and professionally.
