About the Translational Research Scientist role We are seeking a highly motivated Translational Research Scientist to support a growing clinical AI imaging research program focused on prospective clinical validation, quantitative study design, and real-world healthcare implementation. In this role, you will work closely with clinician investigators, engineers, and consulting statisticians across a diverse portfolio of projects, including AI-enabled imaging research, clinical workflow and ergonomics studies, and healthcare economics and outcomes research. We are looking for someone who can help drive rigorous scientific execution, identify methodological challenges early, coordinate complex multidisciplinary studies, and contribute to publication-quality translational research. The ideal candidate is intellectually rigorous, detail-oriented, proactive, and excited to help build high-impact translational research programs spanning clinical AI, workflow optimization, and healthcare outcomes. W hat will you do?
Assist with the design and execution of clinical AI and imaging studies
Help develop study methodologies, endpoints, and analysis plans
Identify potential sources of bias, confounding, and study-design weaknesses
Coordinate closely with engineering and statistical teams
Propose alternative analyses and study strategies to strengthen scientific rigor
Support manuscript preparation, figures, abstracts, and grant development
Help manage timelines, data workflows, IRB coordination, and research operations across multiple concurrent studies
Contribute to company research initiatives
Who are we looking for?
Background in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Biomedical Informatics, Health Services Research, Clinical Research Methodology, Translational Medicine, or Quantitative Public Health Research preferred.
MPH, MS, PhD, or equivalent research training is preferred.
Experience with clinical or translational research studies and a strong understanding of study design and statistical methodologies.
Prior publication or academic research experience is preferred.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and project-management skills with the ability to work independently in multidisciplinary research teams.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts in healthcare research is preferred, though advanced coding expertise is not required.
