Role Description This is a full-time, remote position for a Field Service Engineer based in Bethlehem, PA and the surrounding areas. Travel outside the country may be necessary. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing equipment. Key tasks include performing troubleshooting, providing technical support to customers, conducting preventive maintenance, and developing effective solutions to ensure uninterrupted system performance. The role also involves delivering exceptional customer service to address client needs in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications
Experience in Field Service, including installation and maintenance of equipment.
Must be comfortable troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, software, and electrical issues in a clinical laboratory environment
Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance practices to ensure optimal system performance.
Excellent Customer Service skills, including communication and issue resolution.
Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work independently or as part of a team.
Experience in manufacturing or biotech environments is an advantage.
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 50 Lbs with assistance on occasion and lift 25-30 Lbs continuously throughout the day
