What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Assist the Principal Investigator (PI) with literature searches and converting research findings into public health messaging
- Develop reports with graphic representations of data
- Conduct data cleaning and analyses, and create graphic displays of research data
- Contribute to the preparation of research reports and manuscripts
- Collaborate with the PI as needed on various research-related documents
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Public Health or other science-related master's degree required
- No prior research experience is necessary for new master's degree graduates with relevant course or project work in a public health-related field
- Strong knowledge and background in literature searches, SAS and R programming, and graphics
- Proficiency in scientific or public health writing
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with data analysis and graphic representation in a research context
- Familiarity with public health principles and methodologies
- Previous coursework or projects related to public health research
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
