- Follow and uphold all Enterprise Query Standards
- Collaborate with application support specialists and developers to implement data changes in line with established change‑management processes
- Partner with the application support team to support quarterly release cycles
- Analyze, refine, and optimize queries flagged as potentially harmful to production, focusing on scalability, availability, and performance improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
- Must have experience with AlwaysON
- At least 2-5+ years of hands‑on experience administering MS SQL Server
- Strong analytical judgment and problem‑solving skills for addressing significant technical issues
- Deep understanding and consistent application of Enterprise Query Standards
- Advanced proficiency with T‑SQL and PowerShell
- Experience reviewing SQL queries using execution plans, DMVs, Profiler, or Extended Events
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools is beneficial
