Job Summary
We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager, Email Marketing & Lifecycle to lead our email and retention marketing efforts across high-impact campaigns and always-on customer journeys. Reporting to the Director Marketing, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle strategy - driving engagement, retention, and revenue through personalized, data-driven communication.
This is a high-impact role requiring deep expertise in email marketing platforms (especially Klaviyo ), strong analytical thinking, and a passion for building meaningful customer experiences at scale.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of email and SMS lifecycle campaigns across the customer journey (acquisition, onboarding, retention, win-back)
  • Own and scale all campaigns within Klaviyo , including segmentation, automation, and performance tracking
  • Build and manage always-on lifecycle flows (e.g., welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, re-engagement)
  • Partner with creative and brand teams to develop compelling, high-performing messaging and content
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align email strategy with broader acquisition and retention initiatives
  • Continuously test and optimize subject lines, creative, send times, and segmentation strategies to improve KPIs
  • Analyze campaign performance and customer behavior to uncover insights and drive data-informed decisions
  • Manage email calendar, campaign briefs, and cross-functional timelines
  • Oversee deliverability, list health, and compliance best practices
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and innovations in lifecycle and retention marketing
  • Report on performance and provide actionable insights to leadership

Requirements
  • 5–8+ years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or CRM
  • Deep, hands-on experience with Klaviyo (required)
  • Proven success managing and scaling multi-channel lifecycle programs (email + SMS preferred)
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and automation strategies
  • Experience with A/B testing, campaign optimization, and performance analysis
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in marketing metrics (LTV, CAC, retention, conversion rates)
  • Familiarity with eCommerce ecosystems (e.g., Shopify, integrations, customer data platforms)
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with deliverability, compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR), and list hygiene best practices
  • Must live in Texas, Arizona, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Washington, or Indiana.

Nice to Have
  • Background in DTC or high-growth eCommerce brands
  • HTML/CSS knowledge for email development
