We're looking for a sharp, driven engineer to join our technical team, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in building and maintaining reliable infrastructure.
What you'll be doing
- Design, deploy, and maintain server infrastructure, virtualisation platforms, and cloud environments for a diverse client base
- Manage and optimise networking components including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and SD-WAN solutions
- Implement and maintain security best practices, patch management, and backup/disaster recovery strategies
- Provide escalation support for complex technical issues and mentor junior engineers on the team
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored technology solutions
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in a systems engineering or senior IT role, ideally within an MSP environment
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware or Hyper-V, and Windows Server
- Hands-on networking experience (Cisco, Fortinet, or similar) and solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Relevant certifications (e.g. MCSE, CCNA, Azure Administrator) are a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills — comfortable working directly with clients and explaining technical concepts clearly
