Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit customs entries in compliance with CBP regulations
- Review shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
- Ensure accurate tariff classification and duty calculation
- Coordinate with clients, carriers, and internal teams to resolve entry-related issues
- Track shipments and ensure timely clearance of cargo
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal procedures
Candidate Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in customs brokerage or import operations
- Strong understanding of U.S. Customs entry processes and documentation
- Familiarity with tariff classification and import compliance principles
- Experience with brokerage systems (e.g., CargoWise or similar) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple entries
- Clear communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Japanese language skills are beneficial but not required
