Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit customs entries in compliance with CBP regulations
- Review shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
- Ensure accurate tariff classification and valuation of goods
- Coordinate with customs officials, clients, and internal teams to resolve entry issues
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and company procedures
- Track shipments and ensure timely clearance of cargo
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in customs brokerage or import operations
- Strong understanding of U.S. Customs entry processes and documentation
- Familiarity with tariff classification and basic compliance principles
- Experience using brokerage systems (e.g., CargoWise or similar) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple entries
- Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
