Summary Of Position Installation, general support and administration of firewalls, network communications and telecoms. Systems include network, firewall, enterprise voice, remote access and VPN's. Provide backend system support and ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of data for all physical locations of the business. Aid in the growth of all team members, furthering their interpersonal and technical aptitude. This position will be on-call nights and weekends. Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Ability to troubleshoot and specifically diagnose hardware, software, and networking issues.
Demonstrate an understanding of IS&T systems' interoperation in respect to client server functionality.
Familiar with Virtual Private Network (VPN).

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Manage and troubleshoot computer equipment, Local Area Network/Wireless Area Network (LAN/WAN), including all related switches and peripherals with assistance from supporting teams as required.
Work occasional evenings and weekends when upgrades or projects are required.
Manage service requests for users via the IT Service Management (ITSM) toolset according to service specifications.
Thoroughly document, track, monitor incidents and problems, ensuring timely resolution while adhering to change control procedures.
Setup, install, configure, test, deploy, maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot with external vendors as required.
Necessary Qualifications
Relevant work experience / certification(s) or actively working to obtain certification(s) in computer related field that may include Cisco CCNA, Palo Alto PCNSE or other similar certifications.
Ability to research, recommend and develop cost-effective solutions.
Self-starter with a good work ethic and attitude.
Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with minimal direction is essential.
