Sony Pictures Television is seeking a highly organized, proactive Administrative Assistant to support executives within the Drama and Comedy Development teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, exercises sound judgment, and can anticipate team needs while managing multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, exceptional multitasker, and collaborative team player with a passion for television and storytelling. Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative support to Drama and Comedy Development executives, including complex calendar management, scheduling, and phone coverage
Coordinate meetings, calls, and department activities while ensuring executives remain organized and on schedule
Prepare and process expense reports, invoices, and other administrative documentation in a timely manner
Maintain and update contact databases, call lists, and departmental records
Read scripts and creative materials, review cuts/dailies, and summarize notes from meetings, calls, and screenings
Create presentations, correspondence, reports, and other internal or external communications
Arrange travel, including itineraries, visas, accommodations, and related logistics, prepare, submit and track expense reports
Conduct research and compile information for projects, talent, competitive analysis, and development initiatives
Support special projects and department needs as assigned
Help facilitate effective communication and collaboration across internal teams and external partners
Requirements
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independently
High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Comfortable learning new systems and technology platforms
Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Knowledge of the television and entertainment industry preferred
Previous administrative experience in entertainment, media, or a related fast-paced environment preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
The anticipated base salary for this position is $29/hour to $33/hour. This role may also qualify for incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
