We run two very different digital commerce platforms — one wholesale, one retail — and both need to perform better. That's the job. MONALISA operates 14 Cigars USA, a B2B wholesale ordering platform for retail stores, smoke shops, and hospitality accounts across Florida, and Gator Cigars, a B2C subscription and retail platform for individual cigar enthusiasts. Both run on distinct technology stacks (WooCommerce and Shopify), serve completely different customer types, and have their own system-level challenges around adoption, onboarding, and data accuracy. We're growing — expanding the wholesale footprint into Central and Northern Florida and scaling our retail subscription base — and we need a Computer Systems Analyst who can study how these systems work, figure out where they're failing, and design the improvements that will support that growth. - WHAT THIS ROLE IS (AND ISN'T) This is not a software development role. We're not looking for someone to write code. We're looking for someone who can step back, analyze how our systems serve the business, and produce the structured specifications and recommendations that drive better decisions about our technology. The work is analytical and consultative. You'll spend your time understanding system architectures, mapping data flows, gathering requirements from the people who use (or struggle to use) the platforms, and translating all of that into clear, actionable documentation. - WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON • Diagnosing why a portion of wholesale accounts still order by phone instead of through the platform — and designing system-level solutions • Analyzing subscription sign-up flows, checkout completion, and returning customer behavior on the B2C side for system-side improvement opportunities • Mapping data flows across both platforms — inventory, orders, customer accounts — and identifying where they break down • Specifying system improvements and integrations for geographic expansion into new Florida markets • Overseeing implementation by vendors or internal staff; testing that what gets built matches what was specified • Consulting with leadership on how technology decisions connect to business strategy - WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • 5+ years in computer systems analysis — studying systems and designing improvements, not primarily writing code • Experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify, or comparable) • Ability to produce formal system requirements documents and design specs • Comfort working across two very different systems simultaneously • Clear communicator — you can explain a technical finding to a business owner and a data structure to a developer Bonus: experience with B2B wholesale distribution, subscription commerce, or multi-platform data pipeline integration. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related technical field. A post-secondary diploma plus 3+ years of directly relevant experience will also be considered. - THE DETAILS 📍 Broward County, South Florida — full-time, on-site 💼 Competitive salary + performance incentives + travel coverage 📧 [email protected] If you have a background in systems analysis and want to work on a genuinely interesting dual-platform problem in an industry that doesn't usually have this kind of role — we'd like to hear from you. MONALISA is an equal opportunity employer.
