Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Associate Product Manager based in Sugar Land, TX. This role is ideal for someone early in their product career who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to real product initiatives in a collaborative environment. As an Associate Product Manager, you will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, Sales, and Support teams to help execute product initiatives across the product lifecycle. You will support feature development, gather user and stakeholder feedback, assist with product documentation, and help ensure product work aligns with customer needs and business priorities. This role is focused on learning by doing , with mentorship and guidance provided as you build foundational product management skills. What You’ll Do
Support Product Managers in executing product roadmaps and feature initiatives
Assist with gathering and organizing customer, sales, and internal feedback
Help translate business needs and user feedback into clear product requirements
Contribute to product documentation, including feature descriptions, release notes, and internal guides
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross‑functional meetings
Help track progress, timelines, and dependencies across product initiatives
Conduct basic market and competitive research to inform product decisions
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Support teams
Learn and apply Agile product management best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Strong interest in product management and technology‑driven products
0–2 years of experience in product, project coordination, business analysis, or a related role (internships or coursework count)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to analyze information, ask thoughtful questions, and learn quickly
Comfortable working cross‑functionally and collaborating with multiple teams
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar is a plus
Experience or exposure to retail, POS systems, or SaaS products is beneficial but not required
Willingness to learn and grow within a product management career path
