About the role
Millennium Corporation is seeking a Software Tester to support a program in Chantilly, VA . An active TS/SCI FS Poly is required for consideration.
The Software Tester will join a high-performing Agile team supporting 2–3 web-based applications with extensive user interfaces and web service integrations. These applications serve a large and diverse user base, including both individual users and organizations leveraging API/web service capabilities. Additional responsibilities include:
Qualifications
The Software Tester will join a high-performing Agile team supporting 2–3 web-based applications with extensive user interfaces and web service integrations. These applications serve a large and diverse user base, including both individual users and organizations leveraging API/web service capabilities. Additional responsibilities include:
- Execute manual testing (functional, regression, exploratory) for web-based applications
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium
- Perform API testing and validate backend integrations
- Contribute to test planning, test case design, and documentation
- Document test execution results thoroughly within Jira and manage assigned tasks through the workflow lifecycle
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional team members on assigned testing tasks
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups and monthly retrospectives
- Help ensure comprehensive test coverage across all supported applications
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional testing experience)
- 3–5 years of professional software testing experience
- Strong experience with manual testing of web-based applications (functional, regression, exploratory)
- Experience with automated testing using Selenium
- Experience with API testing
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
