Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative clinical support during surgical procedures
- Educate surgeons, nurses, and OR staff on product usage, best practices, and clinical applications
- Deliver product demonstrations, in-services, and training sessions for healthcare professionals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospital staff, and internal teams
- Support product launches, evaluations, and ongoing customer education initiatives
- Troubleshoot and address clinical or technical questions in real time
- Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and customer feedback
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and leadership teams to support territory growth
- Travel extensively to customer sites, hospitals, and industry events as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent clinical experience preferred
- Prior experience in a Clinical Specialist, Clinical Support, OR Support, or related medical device role preferred
- Nursing background and/or operating room experience strongly preferred
- Strong presentation, communication, and training abilities
- Comfortable working in fast-paced surgical environments
- Ability to build rapport and act as a consultative clinical resource
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (approximately 85%+)
Preferred Background
- Experience supporting spine, orthopedic, or surgical medical devices
- Prior experience training clinicians or serving in an educator-focused role
- Familiarity with hospital and operating room protocols and workflows
