Make an Impact. MedBridge Healthcare is growing, and we are looking for a full-time IT Security Analyst to join our team in Fargo, North Dakota . In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting our systems, safeguarding patient data, and strengthening our cybersecurity posture across a national healthcare organization. If you have experience in cybersecurity, network security, vulnerability management, and incident response , this is an opportunity to work directly with IT leadership and make a meaningful impact. ๐ง What Youโll Do
Monitor systems and networks for security threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity
Investigate and respond to security incidents and alerts
Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts
Maintain and support endpoint protection, firewalls, and security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS)
Assist in implementing cybersecurity controls and best practices
Support compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data security standards
Conduct risk assessments and security audits
Partner with IT teams to ensure systems are configured securely
Help maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans
Stay up to date on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies
โ What You Bring
Bachelorโs degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in IT security, cybersecurity, or information security analysis
Hands-on experience with:
Security monitoring tools / SIEM
Endpoint protection and antivirus platforms
Network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
Vulnerability scanning and remediation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to investigate and respond to real-time security threats
โญ Preferred (Nice To Have)
Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CISM, or CEH
Experience in healthcare IT or regulated environments
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and data protection standards
Experience with cloud security or Microsoft security tools
