We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize production processes. In this role, you will be the technical bridge between product design and shop-floor execution, ensuring that manufacturing systems are efficient, scalable, and compliant with rigorous industry standards. You will focus on minimizing waste, improving cycle times, and ensuring equipment reliability.
Core Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Design and refine manufacturing workflows using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce bottlenecks and enhance throughput.
- Compliance & Validation: Author and execute validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ ) and ensure all processes align with ISO standards, safety regulations, and corporate SOPs.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), work instructions, and engineering change notices (ECN) within the PLM/ERP system.
- Equipment Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production machinery; coordinate with vendors for specialized equipment procurement.
- Quality Engineering: Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for production defects or deviations.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the primary technical contact for R&D, Quality Assurance, and external equipment integrators to ensure seamless New Product Introduction (NPI).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field (Required ).
- Experience: 0–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or industrial environment.
- Technical Skills (Required):
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for jig and fixture design.
- Strong grasp of Lean Manufacturing , Kaizen, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems for production scheduling and material tracking.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Preferred Skills:
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Experience in regulated environments (MedTech, Aerospace, or Pharma/GxP).
- Knowledge of automation/robotics and PLC programming.
