**Responsibilities: **

- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database servers.

- High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage Oracle RAC.

- Performance Tuning: Perform advanced SQL, PL/SQL, and instance-level tuning using AWR, ADDM, and ASH reports to optimize performance.

- Automation & Scripting: Write and maintain Unix shell scripts (Bash/KornShell) or Python to automate routine DBA tasks, backups, and monitoring.

- Backup & Recovery: Formulate and execute backup/recovery strategies using RMAN (Recovery Manager).

- Production Support: Provide on-call support.
