QA / Test Engineer📍 Remote — United States 🕒 Full-Time 💼 Entry-Level / Junior We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated QA / Test Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our products by working closely with engineering, product, and design teams throughout the development lifecycle. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about software quality, testing processes, and delivering excellent user experiences. What You’ll Do
Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and testing scenarios
Perform manual testing and support automated testing initiatives
Identify, document, reproduce, and track software bugs and issues
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure product quality
Validate bug fixes and verify new features prior to release
Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts
Participate in requirement and design reviews from a QA perspective
Conduct functional, regression, usability, and cross-browser testing
Maintain detailed documentation of testing activities and results
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent practical experience
0–2 years of experience in QA, software testing, internships, or related technical projects
Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and QA lifecycle concepts
Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Playwright, or similar
Understanding of web and/or mobile application testing
Basic programming or scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Python, or similar languages is a plus)
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a remote environment
Fluent English communication skills
Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice to Have
Exposure to Agile or Scrum development environments
Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Linear
Interest in test automation and CI/CD workflows
Experience with API testing or performance testing tools
Personal, academic, or open-source software projects
