About the role

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Technology Project Management Task Lead to join our CASTLE-NET Program team. This is a remote position .
Be a part of an agile team to provide innovative, customer focused, and cost-effective integrated enterprise IT support services in support of the client’s vision of engineering solutions for the Nation’s toughest challenges.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Oversee and manage the execution of large-scale federal projects within USACE IT.
  • Ensure alignment with client goals and adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Comprehensive planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities, including resource allocation, risk management, and performance monitoring.
  • Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
  • Possess and apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.

  • Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
  • Deliver world-class IT services and responsive, dependable customer support.
  • Exceed the expectations of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G-6 IT end-users.
  • Deliver vital solutions and strengthen the IT foundation with secure, innovative, and modernized technological solutions.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, an Associate degree +2 years relevant experience, or 4+ years relevant experience is acceptable
  • 8+ years of project management experience in a federal contracting environment with experience in Agile methodologies and infrastructure engineering projects.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification
  • Familiarity with the USACE IT environment, regulatory requirements, and data security best practices are preferred.

Clearance Requirements
  • Must hold an active Secret security clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
