Magnet ABA Therapy provides in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to support individuals and families. Our offerings include 1:1 ABA therapy delivered by trained behavior technicians, parent/caregiver training, and collaboration with schools and other service providers such as speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. We create individualized treatment plans to address reducing challenging behaviors, improving communication and social skills, and enhancing daily living and transition skills. Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a BCBA - Parent Training Specialist. The role involves developing and implementing personalized behavior intervention plans for clients, providing training and coaching for parents and caregivers to ensure consistency in care, and monitoring client progress through data collection and analysis. The specialist collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, conducts assessments, and ensures adherence to evidence-based ABA practices. Regular communication with families and team members is key to providing effective and holistic support.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and experience in conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and providing direct and indirect interventions
  • Demonstrated ability in providing parent and caregiver training, delivering coaching, and building effective, collaborative relationships with families
  • Excellent skills in data collection, interpretation, progress monitoring, and reporting to guide and adjust interventions
  • Experience working within interdisciplinary teams and collaborating with professionals such as educators, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, time management, and organizational capabilities
  • BCBA certification and in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Proficiency in technology tools such as data collection software is a plus
  • Passion for making meaningful improvements in the lives of individuals with developmental and behavioral needs
