People & Development (HR): Focuses on training, people development, change management, and corporate culture.
Support performance management and talent visibility tools
Assist with development initiatives across Lufthansa Group companies
Coordinate with European HQ and regional teams
Support in planning, scheduling and delivering people concepts and special projects
Crisis Management: Prepares and trains employees to assist in case of an airline emergency.
Support Crisis Management in coordinating meetings, conferences and events (mainly workshops & trainings)
Maintain the Crisis Management volunteer database, online platform & emergency notification system
Social Impact Projects: In reference to social impact
Developing engagement of employee volunteers in social impact events
Assist with internal/external communications
Opportunity to develop programs for local non-profit organizations
All other duties as assigned or required
Requirements You must fulfill the following requirements:
Studies in psychology, business administration, social sciences or other related studies
2 semesters completed before the start of the internship
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willing and able to handle emotionally demanding Emergency Response topics
Ability to work independently and under pressure with a high degree of accuracy and self-organization
Ability to handle different projects simultaneously
Good knowledge of MS Office (especially PowerPoint)
Fluent in English
International experience preferred, but not required
Must possess work authorization in Germany and fulfill all criteria to get a J-1 visa for the U.S, or have a work-permit for the U.S.
