**About the Role **

The Communication and Documentation Specialist will be responsible for composing and reviewing technical documentation and user guides for internal software applications and analytics dashboards.

**Responsibilities **

- Compose and review technical documentation and user guides for internal software applications and analytics dashboards.

- Maintain and update existing articles and knowledge base ahead of fix version releases.

- Support the development of compelling PowerPoint presentations and video content for various audiences that showcase new applications, features, and benefits.

- Research and synthesize user feedback to improve overall content performance.

Technical Writer

**Network Engineer- Rosemont, IL (Onsite 2x per month) **

**Overview **

Our client is seeking a **Network Engineer / Network Administrator ** to support and optimize their enterprise network infrastructure. This is a **hands-on role ** focused on maintaining secure, high-availability network environments across on-prem and cloud-connected systems.

This individual will play a key role in **network performance, security, and scalability **, with a strong emphasis on **Fortinet firewall technologies and Aruba networking solutions **.

**Key Responsibilities **

- Administer and support enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless)

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot **Fortinet firewalls ** (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)

- Support and maintain **Aruba Networks switches and wireless access points

- Monitor network performance, availability, and security using enterprise tools

- Manage VPN configurations, routing protocols, VLANs, and network segmentation

- Respond to and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues

- Implement and maintain network security best practices (firewall rules, IDS/IPS, access controls)

- Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams on hybrid connectivity (Azure/AWS)

- Participate in on-call rotation for critical network support

**Required Qualifications **

- 5+ years of hands-on network engineering / administration experience

- Strong experience with **Fortinet (FortiGate) ** firewall configuration and management

- Experience with **Aruba switches and wireless networking **

- Solid understanding of:

- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP

- VLANs, VPNs, routing (BGP/OSPF preferred)

- Network security principles

- Experience in enterprise environments with high availability requirements

- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues end-to-end

**Preferred Qualifications **

Network Engineer

The SR Structural Engineer position requires 20+ years heavy industrial/power plant experience or accredited bachelor’s & master’s degree in engineering and professional engineering license.

Job responsibilities include providing structural engineering services and field support, conducting preparation of designs and calculations, conducting site walk downs of construction sites, developing cost estimates and material takeoffs, providing schedule and staffing input for projects, and producing and checking structural steel design calculations and drawings.

Skillsets and expertise required for this position include detailed knowledge of structural steel and concrete design principles and industry methodologies, significant structural steel connection design experience, proficiency with structural codes and standards, extensive knowledge of heavy industrial structures and components, strong computer skills - proficiency with structural computer programs such as STAAD PRO, proficiency with OSHA regulations, able to coordinate and manage multiple large scale, multi-discipline projects, able to perform structural inspections and provide written report, strong problem solving and decision making abilities, and the ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.
