Salary range: $80,000 – $100,000 base

Position Overview Established law firm is seeking a polished and highly organized Legal Practice Assistant to support attorneys within a busy Business Litigation and Real Estate practice group. This role functions heavily as an Executive Assistant while also providing legal administrative support in a fast-paced professional environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and comfortable interacting with high-level attorneys, clients, and court personnel. Responsibilities
Manage complex attorney calendars, scheduling, and daily priorities
Coordinate meetings, conference calls, court reporters, and client-related activities
Screen and manage attorney phone calls and correspondence
Draft, revise, proofread, and format legal documents, memoranda, correspondence, and reports
Prepare engagement letters and assist with conflict checks and new business intake processes
Handle transcriptions, document edits, filings, discovery coordination, and court-related communications
Monitor and manage attorney emails and workflow deadlines
Maintain client files and records in both electronic and paper filing systems
Coordinate extensive travel arrangements and itineraries
Process expense reports, billing-related tasks, and attorney time summaries
Maintain client contact lists and assist with marketing-related activities
Participate in team meetings and assist with agenda preparation and meeting minutes
Coordinate continuing legal education (CLE) trainings and administrative projects
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of legal administrative, executive assistant, or legal secretarial experience required
Law firm or banking industry experience strongly preferred
Experience supporting high-volume executives or attorneys in fast-paced environments
Strong client communication and relationship management skills
Experience with calendaring, scheduling, document management, and legal workflows
Familiarity with state and federal court filings preferred
