**Job Summary: **

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Director of FP&A ** to lead the financial planning and analysis function within our mortgage organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial modeling, reporting, and performance analysis, with specific experience in **Third-Party Origination (TPO) mortgage ** operations. This role will play a key part in driving the company’s financial strategy, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and capacity planning to optimize production and financial performance.

**Key Responsibilities: **

**Budgeting & Forecasting: **

- Lead the annual budgeting process, aligning with company objectives and financial goals.

- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts that reflect dynamic business needs and market conditions within the mortgage industry.

- Ensure accuracy in forecasting loan production volumes, costs, and revenue projections.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): **

- Design and track company-wide KPIs, with a focus on mortgage production, margins, capacity, and financial performance.

- Regularly monitor and report on KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiencies and profitability.

**Financial Reporting: **

- Prepare, review, and present financial reports to executive leadership, highlighting financial trends, variances, and actionable insights.

- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages that detail performance metrics, forecasts, and financial results.

**Production Analysis: **

- Conduct detailed analysis of loan production data to identify trends, growth opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.

- Work closely with operations and sales teams to understand production performance and its impact on overall financial health.

**Capacity Modeling: **

- Develop and implement models to assess capacity requirements based on projected loan volumes and market conditions.

- Provide recommendations for resource allocation and staffing levels to optimize operational efficiency.

**Ad Hoc Analysis: **

- Support executive leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.

- Lead special projects and initiatives that require cross-functional collaboration, such as M&A analysis or new product evaluations.

**Scenario & Sensitivity Analysis: **

- Perform scenario analysis to assess potential business outcomes under various economic, market, and operational conditions.

- Conduct sensitivity analyses to determine the impact of changing assumptions on financial outcomes and risk exposure.

**Requirements: **

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

- Minimum 10 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, with at least 7 years in the mortgage industry.

- **Experience in Third-Party Origination (TPO) mortgage ** operations is a must.

- Proven track record of managing large-scale budgets, forecasts, and financial models.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial systems such as Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, or similar tools.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior leadership.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Qualifications: **

- Experience in production and capacity analysis within the mortgage or financial services industry.

- Strong understanding of mortgage loan production, pricing models, and profitability drivers.

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the mortgage industry.
