The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking an experienced System Engineer to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity. As a Systems Engineer on NGI, you should have a complete understanding of at least one of the key system subject areas with the opportunity to work in all fields to include systems definition, decomposition, allocation, traceability, maintenance, verification/validation, system integration, analysis, and test. You will be expected to leverage this understanding to support major program reviews, including SRR, PDR, and CDR, participate in specification and interface development/documentation, and support the development of verification plans. You may also have the opportunity to participate in system-level analyses in support of mission planning/execution and tests at various test ranges. Some travel may be required.
