Our Supply Chain organization plays a vital role in ensuring the successful procurement and management of specialized materials, equipment, and services that enable development, production, and sustainment programs across a variety of contract types.
THE WORK
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing subcontract specifications, statements of work, and terms and conditions in support of complex subcontracting activities. Responsibilities include preparing bid packages, conducting bidders’ conferences, developing evaluation criteria, analyzing supplier proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, and supporting subcontract awards and administration activities.
Additional Responsibilities Include
  • Managing subcontract activities supporting development, production, and global sustainment programs
  • Coordinating and negotiating subcontract modifications, including additions, deletions, and changes in scope
  • Preparing subcontract packages for management review and approval
  • Collaborating with contracts administration and purchasing teams to support subcontract policy and procedure development
  • Supporting supplier relationship management and subcontract performance execution
  • Reviewing supplier proposals for cost, technical, schedule, and contractual compliance
  • Participating in source selection and supplier evaluation activities
  • Signing supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority levels, as applicable

Desired Skills
  • Experience supporting subcontract management within the aerospace and defense industry
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
  • Experience supporting development, production, or sustainment programs
  • Experience preparing bid packages, evaluation criteria, and source selection documentation
  • Knowledge of supplier performance management and subcontract administration processes
  • Experience coordinating subcontract modifications and change management activities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience working cross-functionally with contracts, engineering, program management, and finance teams
  • SAP, P2P, or other ERP system experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills
