  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience, and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and effectively present inventory data to multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to pull and interpret data, derive trends, and develop reports.
  • Highly motivated individual with operations, logistics and supply chain experience with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to work multiple projects and issues simultaneously under general guidance.
  • Excellent organizational, research and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel to depot sites to support inventory efforts.

Job Description
You will be the Items Analyst for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) – PAC 3 Sustainment team. Our team safeguards the availability of mission critical PAC 3 spares throughout the system life cycle, drives material management forecasts, and ensures the right parts are where they’re needed, when they’re needed.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Items Analyst you will be responsible for providing end to end oversight of inventory and spare part activities that enable the PAC 3 Sustainment program to meet its mission requirements. You’ll work side by side with engineers, logisticians, suppliers, and depot sites, translating demand data into actionable stock level decisions and status reports.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Analyzing demand consumption, current inventory, and positioning versus sustainment workload forecasts.
  • Conducting stock level usage analyses and triggering immediate corrective actions for out of stock situations.
  • Calculating target stock levels for repair parts, managing minimum stock recommendations, and coordinating replenishment with program/PP&C.
  • Generating health metric dashboards and collaborating with the program team to produce material requirement reports.
  • Supplying inputs for inventory system enhancements and performing ongoing data integrity checks across all sites.
  • Assisting with annual off site inventories, preparing records, reporting discrepancies, and driving root cause investigations.
  • Compiling status reports and metrics for material availability, automating processes where possible, and ensuring proper documentation for contract deliverables.
  • Partnering with depot sites and suppliers on inventory management strategies, reviewing supplier deliverables, and leading recurring coordination meetings.
  • Responding to program management and customer inquiries, presenting recommendations, and communicating on hand material status.
  • Supporting occasional travel to depot locations, supplier sites, and customer facilities as needed.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with IAMD products in general and sustainment of those products specifically.
  • Familiarity with sustainment and logistics products/tools and principles.
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool experience (SAP and Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul (MRO)
  • Familiarity with the Material Movement System (MMS) and Government Property System.
  • Ability to coordinate shipments following Special Packaging Instructions (SPIs) and manage long-term storage requirements.
  • Strong process discipline with focus on efficiency and optimization.
