What You’ll Do As the Training & Development Manager, you will lead the development and oversight of LifeScape’s organization-wide training programs, including orientation and onboarding for newly hired staff and supervisors. You’ll ensure all learning initiatives align with LifeScape’s Mission and Core Values while incorporating Person-Centered Practices and meeting all regulatory and compliance requirements. You’ll serve as a key partner in developing a culture of continuous learning, engagement, and support across the organization. Staff who would directly report to you, include Training Coordinator, Nurse Education and Lead Trainer. Some of the job responsibilities associated with this opportunity include but are not limited to: Orientation & New Hire Onboarding
Lead employee onboarding and orientation programs
Develop engaging onboarding and training experiences
Ensure onboarding compliance and documentation accuracy
Conduct training and compliance audits
Translate policies into practical employee training
Create flexible onboarding pathways for new hires
Evaluate and improve onboarding programs
Monitor completion of required new hire training
Support supervisors with coaching during employees’ first 90 days
Supervisor Training Program
Develop supervisor leadership training programs
Define supervisor competencies and learning pathways
Identify and address supervisor training needs
Create training guides, job aids, and resources
Research and implement relevant training content
Coordinate and facilitate in-person training sessions
Serve as a subject matter expert when applicable
Maintain learning tools and resources for supervisors
Staff Training & Development – Direct Care
Partner with managers to address staff training needs
Learning Management System (LMS)
Manage and utilize the Learning Management System (LMS)
Track onboarding, compliance, and training completion
Support role-based training enrollment and requirements
Leverage LMS reporting to support operational needs
Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, and three to five years’ experience in training & development or human resources required, or a combination of higher education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
