Campus Operations Manager Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Campus Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of the campus, ensuring efficient facility management, staff performance, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role will partner with senior leadership to drive operational excellence and support strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Campus Operational Leadership
Lead and oversee all daily campus operations, ensuring facilities, classrooms, offices, and shared spaces are safe, functional, and well-maintained
Manage campus services including facilities management, security, maintenance, front office/administrative operations, and vendor-supported services
Act as the senior on-site operational leader, resolving issues quickly and ensuring uninterrupted campus operations
Establish operational standards, workflows, and service-level expectations across campus functions
Staff Leadership Workforce Management
Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, and manage campus staff, instructors, and operational support teams
Set clear performance expectations, conduct evaluations, provide coaching, and address performance issues
Build a collaborative, accountable, and service-oriented campus culture
Ensure appropriate staffing levels to support programs, events, and peak operational needs
Budget, Financial Resource Management
Develop, manage, and track campus operational budgets, including facilities, staffing, purchasing, and services
Oversee cost control, purchasing, invoicing, and expense management
Support cost recovery efforts and ensure responsible use of campus resources
Partner with finance and leadership to forecast operational needs and support financial sustainability
Strategic Planning Continuous Improvement
Partner with senior leadership to define campus goals, operational priorities, and long-term plans
Translate organizational strategy into campus-level execution
Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and service enhancements
Lead or support campus initiatives, expansions, renovations, or operational changes
Compliance, Safety Risk Management
Ensure full compliance with local, state, and organizational regulations, including safety, licensing, insurance, and facility requirements
Oversee campus safety programs, emergency preparedness, and incident response
Maintain documentation, audits, and reporting related to compliance and risk management
Serve as the primary campus contact for inspections, audits, and regulatory reviews
Vendor Contract Management
Manage third-party vendors and service providers, including facilities, maintenance, security, and other campus services
Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure service-level agreements are met
Ensure vendors comply with campus policies, safety standards, and insurance requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Facilities Management, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of experience in campus operations, facilities management, operations leadership, or similar roles
Demonstrated experience leading teams and drive performance
Proven experience managing budgets, purchasing, and operational expenses
Strong operational judgment with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an educational environment, corporate campus, training center, or multi-site operation
Strong working knowledge of safety regulations, licensing, insurance, and compliance requirements
Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation
Background in operational planning, change management, and process improvement
Comfortable working cross-functionally with leadership, finance, HR, and external partners
