**Responsibilities: **

- Serve as the primary point of contact for veterans and their families throughout the claims and appeals process

- Gather, organize, and analyze military, medical, and service-related records

- Prepare case files for attorney review and track deadlines using firm systems

- Communicate with clients on updates, gather information, and offer reassurance

- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure case progress and client satisfaction

- Follow established procedures while identifying opportunities to improve systems and workflows

**Requirements: **

- 2+ years of experience in case management and/or as a paralegal working with veterans or military-related cases

- Empathetic with clients and intentional with identifying solutions to get veterans the payment/benefits they deserve

- Very comfortable communicating with clients over phone and email

- An ability to handle 100+ cases simultaneously in a fast paced environment

- An ability to be able to work independently as well as in a team environment

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new platforms (we’ll train you on our systems)

- Empathetic and client-focused approach when working with veterans and families

**Bonus Experience: **

- A veteran or have family members that are veterans
