Role Description This is an on-site, full-time Web Developer role based in New York, NY. The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing websites to deliver a seamless and user-friendly digital experience. Key tasks include writing clean, efficient code, troubleshooting existing digital platforms, ensuring responsive design compatibility, and collaborating with creative and strategic teams to create web solutions aligned with client goals. Additionally, the role may involve integrating APIs, optimizing website performance, and keeping up-to-date with technological advancements. Qualifications
Proficiency in front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with frameworks like React or Angular.
Hands-on experience with back-end development using languages like Python, PHP, or Node.js, and working knowledge of databases such as MySQL or MongoDB.
Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles, with a focus on responsive and mobile-first design.
Experience with web performance optimization, debugging, and browser compatibility testing.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and deployment tools/workflows.
Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Knowledge of SEO best practices and accessibility compliance is a plus.
Prior experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Drupal is an advantage.
