About the role

For our client, we are seeking a VP Marketing (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a Education, Government & Non-Profit environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $192,500 – $250,250 annually
Responsibilities
  • Lead product marketing strategy for the K-12 portfolio, focusing on messaging and go-to-market execution
  • Utilize research to uncover customer needs and translate insights into narratives
  • Collaborate with Product, Strategy, and Technology leaders on product development priorities
  • Contribute executive insights to influence new product and service development
  • Drive marketing's contribution to pipeline and revenue using demand generation methodologies
  • Lead account-based marketing strategies targeting key K-12 districts
  • Enhance brand engagement through targeted campaigns and thought leadership

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of marketing experience, with at least 10 years in K-12 or education-focused roles
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing people
  • In-depth understanding of K-12 adoption markets and buying processes
  • Proven success in launching and scaling innovative products and solutions
  • Strong analytical skills for measuring and communicating impact
  • Demonstrated strategic agility in large-scale and precise delivery
