About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer (agentic Ai/ml) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $118,450 – $260,590 annually
Responsibilities
  • Develop project vision and create implementation plans for success
  • Break down complex problems into manageable components
  • Design and implement APIs, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Research and adopt emerging technologies and best practices
  • Provide technical guidance to ensure scalable, maintainable code
  • Oversee software lifecycle processes for quality assurance
  • Lead AI/ML model design and optimization for various use cases

Qualifications
  • 7+ years in software design and development with modern programming languages (Java, Python, FastAPI)
  • 5+ years with front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js, jQuery, Bootstrap)
  • 5+ years experience with Azure or GCP cloud services
  • 5+ years leading software development projects, including goal setting and stakeholder communication
  • In-depth understanding of APIs and microservices architecture
  • 3+ years in AI and agentic solution development, including AI/ML integration and prompt engineering
