About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Biostatistician (analytical Validation) to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $164,000 – $205,000 annually
Responsibilities
  • Independently lead the design and analysis of analytical validation studies for oncology products
  • Serve as the statistical lead on multiple high-priority project teams
  • Prepare comprehensive protocols and reports for collaborators and stakeholders
  • Ensure analyses meet the standards set by regulatory agencies such as CAP/CLIA, NYS, and the FDA
  • Provide leadership on the application of advanced statistical methods for complex studies

Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience in diagnostics or biotechnology
  • Ph.D. or Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Expert-level knowledge of statistical methodology in diagnostic medicine, including CLSI guidelines
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, particularly for presenting to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to function well in cross-functional teams
