Responsibilities
- Develop automation tools and scripts for vulnerability scanning
- Consult on security architecture and perform design/code reviews
- Advocate for secure coding practices and educate team members
- Integrate security best practices during software development
- Collaborate with IT and security teams on threat detection
- Utilize AI to enhance efficiency in security processes
- Ensure quality control in AI-assisted security work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 5+ years in corporate security or security-related software engineering
- Proficiency in Linux/UNIX, macOS, or Windows internals with a focus on hardening
- Experience with IT architectural and infrastructure coordination for scalability
- Familiarity with fleet management tools like Puppet, Chef, or Terraform
- Cloud computing experience in infrastructure or security contexts
- Capable of leveraging AI for process improvement in security engineering
