About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Medical Physicist (longview Tx) to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $185,320 – $254,815 annually
Responsibilities
  • Calibrate dose meters and radiation equipment for quality assurance
  • Prepare treatment planning data and improve dosimetry systems and protocols
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and standards
  • Participate in organizational performance improvement and policy development
  • Assist in acceptance testing and commissioning of new radiation machines
  • Perform dosimetry calculations and reviews for individual treatment plans
  • Provide consultations to staff and oncologists about patient care and treatment strategies

Qualifications
  • M.S. or PhD in Medical Physics or closely related field required
  • Minimum 3+ years clinical experience and CAMPEP-accredited residency
  • ABR certification in Radiation Oncology Physics preferred
  • Experience with High Dose Rate (HDR) and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) is a plus
  • Familiarity with patient database applications and computer system administration desired
  • Must be eligible for State licensing in radiation physics within a specified timeframe
