For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Marketing Digital Content Strategist to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will drive search and content-led growth initiatives that improve visibility, acquisition, and measurable demand. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a regulated financial services environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $137,000 – $200,750 annually Responsibilities
Drive innovation for a cohesive digital content ecosystem aligned with enterprise strategy
Serve as the internal expert in AEO, influencing other teams on strategic content decisions
Optimize content for SEO and ensure it meets credibility standards for B2B decision-makers
Refine information architecture and content modeling to enhance findability and reuse
Establish governance models and editorial standards to ensure quality across teams
Own the editorial roadmap and oversee content refresh strategies to maintain quality and compliance
Analyze data to identify opportunities for enhancing discoverability and engagement, and experiment for continuous learning
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
SEO or marketing certification, preferably in AEO; additional certifications are preferred
10+ years of experience in digital content strategy, preferably in the B2B or enterprise context
Expertise in SEO fundamentals including search intent research and on-page optimization
Experience with analytics platforms like GA4 and Semrush to evaluate performance
Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms, especially Drupal, and knowledge of web accessibility standards
