For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer In Test 5 - Games Platform Quality to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $266,000 – $442,000 annually Responsibilities
Define the testing strategy and quality roadmap for the Games Platform team
Own the test and certification infrastructure, ensuring comprehensive coverage across platforms
Establish performance baselines for games across various devices
Build and maintain CI pipelines to identify regressions early in the development process
Validate cross-engine platform behavior and ensure correct lifecycle handling
Collaborate with platform engineering and game studio teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in CI/CD pipeline design and test automation for games or platform engineering
Experience automating tests on embedded devices like smart TVs and streaming sticks
Proficient in TypeScript or JavaScript, with knowledge of graphics APIs like WebGL or WebGPU
Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal with an understanding of their lifecycle
Knowledge of game performance metrics for streaming, including fps and render fidelity
Experience with real device orchestration or device farm infrastructure for automated testing
Strong problem-solving skills and collaboration experience with cross-functional teams
