About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director Data Science - Nextgen Forecasting - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a healthcare environment.

Compensation: $159,300 – $273,200 annually

Responsibilities
- Provide enterprise-level leadership in predictive and prescriptive analytics for decision-making
- Lead the design and scaling of advanced forecasting capabilities using complex datasets
- Apply statistical modeling and machine learning to uncover emerging trends
- Translate ambiguous business questions into scalable forecasting solutions
- Direct forecasting architecture, modeling strategies, and validation frameworks
- Oversee multi-layer data science teams ensuring technical rigor and talent development
- Collaborate with multiple departments to align strategic forecasting efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in data science, forecasting, and predictive analytics at enterprise scale
- Proven leadership in multi-layer data science organizations
- Deep expertise in time series forecasting and advanced statistical techniques
- Hands-on experience with ARIMA/SARIMA and machine learning forecasting methods
- Experience in handling non-stationary time series data and validation methodologies
- Knowledge of Gen AI skills, including Large Language Models
