About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director Brand Marketing & Communications to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will drive search and content-led growth initiatives that improve visibility, acquisition, and measurable demand. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a regulated financial services environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $175,000 – $175,000 annually
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with growth goals
  • Act as a liaison between leadership and marketing teams
  • Participate in cross-functional collaborations with various departments
  • Oversee performance reporting and connect marketing activity to business outcomes
  • Mentor and manage social media, PR, and communications staff
  • Set strategic direction for digital content and social media initiatives
  • Create frameworks for AI content and organic visibility optimization

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in growth marketing or related fields
  • 4+ years in leadership roles managing multi-functional teams
  • Ability to link brand narrative and audience insights to business results
  • Proven mentorship skills developing specialists in social media and communications
  • Expertise in SEO, AEO, AI discovery, and digital marketing
  • Strong executive presence and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in brand reputation and sensitive topics
  • Experience in fintech or regulated industries is a plus
