About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Science Training And Sustainment Manager to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a manufacturing environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $134,100 – $241,400 annually
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a Sustainment to Transition Plan for project responsibilities
  • Plan and execute training courses for trainers and stakeholders on PCU operations and biosafety
  • Teach courses or workshops as a Senior Instructor based on expertise
  • Build relationships with host country stakeholders and support U.S. Government client needs
  • Prepare an Operation and Maintenance Manual for project sustainability
  • Review Training Event Reports to incorporate lessons learned into future curriculums
  • Participate in a Training and Sustainment Working Group with stakeholders

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Microbiology, Virology, Public Health, Adult Education, or closely related field
  • 12 years of experience in international projects and technical training programs, with 5 years in adult education within a scientific or laboratory environment
  • Experience in biorisk management and biosafety lab operations
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver training curriculum in a live setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with capability to engage various stakeholders
